2016 Open Your Heart Honorees
The American Heart Association is committed to the health of our youngest generation. With your support, we are funding research related to heart health, stroke and congenital heart diseases in children, which is the leading cause of death among infants with birth defects. Thanks to your generosity in previous years, the Upstate is proud to have the top Open Your Heart campaign in the state of South Carolina.
A special part of the evening will be dedicated to honoring children affected by heart disease. During the Open Your Heart moment, you will hear stories of families touched by congenital heart disease or stroke. We are honored to have the family and friends of these special hearts attend the Heart Ball. The night of the Ball, everyone will have a chance to personally support the American Heart Association's efforts through Open Your Heart.
