My wife Bobbi and I are honored to co-chair the American Heart Association’s 2012 Upstate Heart Ball. Heart disease threatens the lives of our families and friends more than any other illness.  The American Heart Association works every minute of every day to fund groundbreaking research in South Carolina and spread lifesaving knowledge through our Upstate community.  Through understanding our family history, making small changes in our eating and exercise habits, and with improved response procedures being suggested to healthcare providers we can significantly reduce our risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke. With continued support, we can transform the Upstate into a heart healthy place to live.
